That 70's (Wedding) Show ...Raphael & Dave

Raphael and Dave decided to have a funkalicious 70's theme for their wedding. They invited their guests to trip back to the era and dress the part for the event.

Raphael is an Opera Singer and Dave is a Rocker... let's just say their vows were musical and their guests couldn't stop smiling and laughing! Even their minister was in full character as a reincarnation of a blonde John Lennon. Raph's brother got a Sitar (and grew his sideburns) and accompanied.

The wedding was at beautiful Cecil Green Park Manor after a short portrait sesh with a dark and muscle-y '72 Monte Carlo at the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts at UBC.

I always love bumping into friends at weddings.... turns out that Raphael's Aunt is my friend Linda Wagner, who attended the wedding. It was great to see her there! Linda is a very talented Painter; check out her stunning large abstract Canvases here.
